Newbie.

Hi all another christmas newbie here. i have a spark 3D SP1. have set it up but not yet successfully done a test piece. watching lots of you tube vids, getting really frustrated surely it cant be this hard, running cura slicer on the pc. Any advise welcomed. Happy new year to all

Windows? I don't know. Is it installation or operation you are having trouble with?

Cura seemed quite straightforward to install on Linux (just run the appimage file), and in general anything "enthusiast" is more at home in Linux than Windows.

To discuss it further, please open a thread in the Software section.

CrazyIvan, thanks for the reply, the software runs fine its the printing that is the problem, after 2 or 3 layers something catches and drags the print around. so not completed a single print yet

Photos, or preferably video, posted on a hosting site and linked here, will be much better than trying to diagnose by text.
